Alia Scheirman

Alia was born in the Midwest and grew up moving around - living with her mother in Kansas, Iowa, Japan, and Minnesota. As an adult, she has done an extensive amount of world travel, including two years in Ukraine while in the Peace Corps. One consistent aspect of Alia's life has been her love of artistic expression; she has been involved in theater and dance, plays the violin, and enjoys writing. She also cares deeply about human rights, feminism, and humanitarianism. Alia currently lives and works full-time in Texas.
